1. Data That Stays on Your Device
The following is stored locally using Hive (on-device database) and is deleted when you uninstall the App. We have no access to it.
- Study session history (start time, duration, session type)
- Daily Pomodoro streak and milestone dates
- Timer settings (work / break durations, daily goal)
- Selected theme and ambient sound preferences
2. Third-Party SDKs
The App embeds the following SDKs that collect data automatically. Tap each link to read their full policy.
Anonymised in-app events (session started, theme changed, etc.) plus device model, OS version, and country. Used to understand usage patterns and improve the App. No personal identity is included.
Automatic crash reports containing stack trace, device model, Android OS version, and available RAM at crash time. No session content or personal data included. Used only to fix bugs.
Serves ads to free users. AdMob may collect your Android Advertising ID (GAID) to show relevant ads. You can reset or opt out of personalised ads in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. Premium subscribers see no ads.
Processes your Google Play purchase receipt to verify and manage your subscription entitlement. Receives a pseudonymous user ID and purchase metadata (product ID, date, status). Payment card details remain with Google Play.
3. No Account Required
You do not need to create an account. Firebase may assign an anonymous installation identifier for analytics and crash reporting. This identifier is not linked to any name, email, or personal identity.
4. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
5. Data Retention
Analytics and crash data is retained by Google per their standard policies (typically 14 months for Analytics). On-device data is retained until you uninstall the App. RevenueCat purchase records are retained as required for financial compliance.
6. Your Rights
You can request deletion of any personal data we hold by contacting us at the address below. For AdMob data, reset your Android Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation in Android Settings. For Firebase data deletion, see Google's documentation.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted in the App and reflected by a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
